Renee Owens is responsible for evaluating liability, medical malpractice, commercial and workers compensation cases for possible structured settlement annuities. Renee reviews future economic damages and life care plans and prepares structured settlement proposals for defense attorneys, plaintiff attorneys, applicant attorneys, claims adjusters, judges, mediators and financial planners. She attends mediation and settlement conferences and prepares structured settlement proposals to assist with settlement.
Previously, Renee was a claims manager, responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, the adjudication of aggregate claims, cost containment efforts and subrogation recoveries. She reviewed claims and approved reimbursement checks up to $1 million.
